AREAS OF CARE

Our Therapeutic Approaches

Sessions often incorporate a combination of therapeutic approaches to support each client’s unique needs and goals. Depending on presentation, response to treatment, and overall focus areas, certain techniques may be emphasized more individually throughout the session.

  • Craniosacral Therapy (CST)

A gentle hands-on technique focused on the craniosacral system, including the skull, spine, sacrum, and surrounding nervous system structures. CST uses light touch to support nervous system regulation, relaxation, tension release, and overall body balance.

  • Craniosacral Fascial Therapy (CFT)

A whole-body approach focused on the fascial system — the connective tissue that surrounds muscles, organs, nerves, and joints throughout the body. CFT works to release fascial restrictions, support alignment, improve mobility, and promote overall comfort and regulation.

  • Myofascial Release (MFR)

A hands-on soft tissue technique designed to address restrictions within the fascia and musculoskeletal system, including muscles, tendons, and connective tissues. MFR may help improve posture, flexibility, mobility, pain management, and overall physical function

  • Nervous System Regulation

Techniques focused on supporting body awareness, muscle activation, coordination, relaxation, and nervous system regulation. Sessions may incorporate movement-based strategies/ techniques to improve overall function, comfort, and regulation

  • Stretching & Mobility Support

Gentle stretching and mobility-based techniques used to support flexibility, posture, movement patterns, joint mobility, and overall physical comfort. Sessions may also include individualized recommendations and home strategies to support carryover outside of treatment.

  • Client & Caregiver Education

Education is incorporated throughout sessions to help clients and caregivers better understand ways to support continued progress outside of treatment. Thrive believes in ongoing processes, and support beyond the session to encourage long-term carryover and lasting results.
